dude, you have to look at the cash flow statement to see the actual cash going in and coming out. Financial assets fluctions affect the earnings result which makes it less meaningful. Samething for berkshire. Look at the cash flow statement. they deducted $16.5mil and got POSITIVE $8mil cash inflow
