It would take 6 years before we really earn money from it ("We aim to be the first to market, in as early as 2026, with fossil-free steel").
According to PYR ("replacing fossil fuel burners with PyroGenesis' proprietary plasma torch"), pellet production as a preliminary stage for later steel production is likely to be possible soon in Sweden and at all other global steel producers and will bring in a lot of money today. Not in 6 years !
The fossil-free-steel project in Sweden is nevertheless important
to make steelmakers around the world sensitive to this technology. But not for us today (yet)
