RE:RE:RE:RE:fire.db convert Conversion price is 28.5 cents so at a 17.5 cent, the minimum the new FIRE.DB should trade at is 59.60.
On your other question, everyone had to take shares. The election is only to have half in freely trading shares. Still collecting interest on the 36.5% of the bonds remaining.

I did not elect to get access to shares right away as I plan on holding for the long run 3-5years. my question is how do i know how many fire shares that will convert to? i feel like it should be more then 20k fire shares. Also should I be contacting my brokarage about anything?
you should definitely call your brokerage.
I wasnt allowed to take the election of free trading shares because I was told I missed the deadline. Tried to sell some of my debs today and it seems as if I'm currently in a short position on these sold debs. Which is impossible being from a TFSA.
I still own all of my debs (which are nearly doubled in price) and now have another line on my portfolio which says negative 10,000 debs which were the debs I tried to get rid of.
Currently on hold with RBC. What a mess.
you would only hold 36.5% of the face value of debs you held before. Not sure why you would be trying to sell those as they are still trading below conversion value but if you oversold, they will have to cover in the market for you.
