RE:PENDING CORES AT LAB APPEARANCEI'll agree that you are correct about the copper grade in that sample from MPD-20-004 given that they idenitified it as chalcopyrite. You are likely correct about the gold content too, although I'd prefer a bit more proof than just the visual.
What interests me is where they saw the bornite. There is no clear indication if it was included in the assayed interval. They indicate that the bornite is typically found below 500 m depth so I'm thinking it wasn't included in the rush assay. Based on that, I'm hoping to see higher copper grades at depth, even without the gold.

Looking at the picture below it is way more than 1% cooper and 1 gram of gold. Look at the red semi-massive sulfides section at each end. I am sure that Chris possibly got some Massive sulfides below the Semi-Massive sulfide and Massive sulfides is exactly what Diamond Field DFD at Vosey's Bay Labrador had on its first 33 M hole in 1993. DFD in January 1995 hit 104 M of massive sulfides and Teck got involved early by taking 10% participation and March 26, 1996 Inco did a takeover at $4,5 billion or$174/share of DFD and laterthe resource was proven for 141 million tonnes 1.63% nickle; .85% copper and .09% cobalt.
I am posting first the core picture and a link of Vosey's Bay DFD story in 3 parts. I pasted part 2 which explains the stock history going from $4.65 to $174 at the very end and the drilling story. To move from part 1, 2 and 3 just click on top on the specific icons.
Be aware that KDK can become a story exactly like DFD. Just hold on to your shares and let Chris and Claudia do their work along with Tech now. Deja vue! Enjoy!
