The way I read this is that there are about 60 registered producers and those with the Alberta crest/shield are those authorized to sell to ALGC. If a new company is authorized, an Alberta crest is added after their name. Is it material news? I don't think so. It probably gives SUGR a pre-approved supplier status if ALGC has an order for them. Standard government stuff.  i.e. If you want to sell office equipment or other stuff to the federal government, you have to be on the list. (Government employees can go online and see who the authorized suppliers are.)

But I agree, better than no news at all. But Goldy won't like it - it's selling wholesale to a middle man. lol
