* respect your universe in Brentwood Mall should have actually been Metrotown Mall they are fairly close to the Apple Store if the location still exists. Rental space in Vancouver is stupid costly. The store and its size they had and location would cost probably between 80 to 100k a month...brick and mortar stores are a killer and lots of businesses that come from the US like Target closed down way before covid.. so far Walmart is the longest lasting American store of recent times that I know of. When the economic mess in the US took grip it was almost like businesses think Canadians are rich so they thought they would not only survive but thrive however they found out the hard way that Canadians arent really better off despite our conservative policies that supposedly put us in better shape than quite a few places including the US but upon further assessment not really regardless of subprime and what not
