They use earnings to calculate distributions.  Earnings have been growing every year.  They don't think their dividend is high, they think the stock price is absurdly low.

They have so much liquidity.  They make substantial cash flow from recycling. Etc etc.  Watch the presentation.  A bit of a marketing ploy, but some interesting views.  Good presentation from their retail analytics rep.  Shows how they see things changing with brick and mortar.

 I don't think they are walking away from the distribution.  They will prob just buy back enough shares to lower the payment obligation.
