The Anteater's Snout Cometh :)

The Anteater's Snout Cometh :)
Mr. House Positions:

Thank you for sharing with us some perspectives on TA.

Firstly, it has given me reason to think about this whole TA thing. If you as an individual are able to fog out some quasi-sophisticated stuff and trade effectively by it, think of what well programmed computers can do. This is especially so if more than one computer (and/or account) is involved and even more if there MIGHT BE some misfeasance, or worse malfeasance.

Where I am going is that with computer trading so prevalent these days along with "manipulation" in various forms, it doesn't stretch one's imagination to see how a penny wonder junior could become a target of same. I have never seen a junior company's share price do the wobbles and patterns that SVA does. I have long said that SVA is being manipulated, but cannot prove it. I also thought that an entity was involved.

We have many possible scenarios, of which the two below are the more likely.

1) There is no entity behind SVA's meanderings. What we are seeing is many "computers" have discovered by analysis that, for whatever reason, SVA's trading patterns can be recognized and as such used to advantage to gain coin with small share price moves. This would include stopping an attempted rise in price because of what has happened before.

2) An entity is involved using multiple accounts to purposely deprive Sernova of money (e.g. exercise of warrants). This is far more sinister, but it would use similar methods to "1)". Keep in mind that 002 (RBC) and 007 (TD) tend to be the largest trading houses by volume of most stocks. Using 001 (Anonymous) and perhaps some peripheral accounts it is easy to visualize "share price pressure on demand". I have already provided links that demonstrate that multiple accounts can and are being used to colour a company's share price.

We find out shortly via Virtual Mesa. I hope some fire power materializes and of the order several million shares to break the grip of this hypothetical computer manipulation, i.e. the pattern changes with a breakout.

In answer to your questions:

1) I use StockCharts some times, but not frequently... mainly because I haven't put my mind into detailed TA. I just look at TA from time to time.

2) I don't subscribe to anything except IV.

3) I do believe that Bollinger Band Squeezes happen. That said, for penny juniors being news driven, the correlation isn't as strong as for Big Picture markets, or Large Caps.
n.b. I believe that TA gives indications of where share prices are going. Further, I also believe that computers alone (i.e. a client uses a module available from a trading house), or with the help of people also recognize these patterns and use them to try to gain coin by trading these patterns.

As for patterns from Mr. House Positions, I would be very appreciative for SVA as that is my total focus at present... the renovations should end in about a week.

Subject: A couple of questions and a request.

The request is for you to "to have a restful weekend" after all these reno's.

The questions  are:

1) Do you use StockCharts for your charting?

2) Do you subscribe to a level where you can use 8-10 indicators on a chart?

3) Are you a firm believer in the Bollinger Band Squeeze?

The reason I ask is over the years, I've put the main indicators/oscillators of the squeeze into one chart and can give you a heads-up on what are the buy/sell triggers, etc, if you would find them of value. Let me know.

See chart below. (I call the visual "Bird Beak with Anteater Snout".)
