I thought MM must have sold because the company didn't disclose the ownership in the management circular. It's kind of silly to not check with MM before filing or to withhold that information.
I think selling the whole company is the easiest way for MM to liquidate and Aphria is an obvious choice given the history and relative size. That being said, it makes sense for MM and Beena to optimize operations as much as possible before a sale to get the best price. They could offer shares for the converts too. Convert holders would just have to agree and obviously, MM controls our fate there.
