RE:Vaccine

RE:VaccineTommy, theres one thing that's a guarentee, people cope with whatever it is they have to cope with, this thing is so long in the tooth that the fear mongering has no effect on many already. The minute they open the gates to fly people will do it even if it was tomorrow.
Tommy123 wrote: I can't foresee travel for many years. I was listening to a podcast from either the NYT or WSJ daily recently talking about vaccines. Fauci is saying that the vaccine is not the end all be all but instead part of a risk mitigation plan. So when combined with masks, it will help reduce infections. It's very different from what the White House is saying. Basically it's not going to be eliminated with a vaccine, though it's a positive first step, but it'll be a long term issue. So it might be years until we say any recovery for oil. I think people will refrain from travelling until 2023 or 2024 at the earliest. Plus, it's likely that Biden will win, and he is advocating for restrictions in the US until Covid isn't an issue, which are very profitable routes for Air Canada. I honestly don't see a way that Air Canada doesn't go insolvent and has to restructure.
