I don't understand people being afraid to travel. The people who die from Covid were too old 75 and over anyway at 98% no real danger under 70.

So it's 100% certain who will have a vaccine in November. Even if it takes 6 months or 1 year to vaccinate Canada, the whole United States from January, February, March it will start to vaccinate people over 70 years old.

I am sure that if Air Canada makes the deal with Air Transat it knows the vaccination plan and also an assistance plan. Currently they are meeting tomorrow Wednesday at the federal government.

Take a good look at the news Thursday morning = the federal government gives $ 7 billion in 0% loan to Air Canada.

There are too many jobs related to Air Canada ... the government will help for sure.

Well I think that the feds would want a big equity stake in echange for support. So that could be very bad for the stock. Also, from what I've read, even with a vaccine it's unlikely that restrictions such as the 14 day rule would be lifted for years. Fauci was saying that the vaccine doesn't change the need for masks, social distancing, business restrictions, etc.
