Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

This aquisition is negative. Craft brewer turning a small profit. No dispensaries or licenses to grow or produce cannabis. This does not get Aphria entrance to the US cannabis industry because you can't ship MJ across the border. We are 7-10 years away from that.

I think in the end you will find that this deal was done because executive bonuses and compensation is probably tied to US market penetration. They are going to pass this off as entry into the US market to get their bonuses at your expense. Massive dilution, 100 million cash gone(this money should have been used to secure assets in the US related to cannabis, not a craft brewery). You will have a green day tomorrow, perhaps the next day as well but when this gets digested by institutional investors, they will take it back down.

Good luck. Sincerely.
