I've got to wonder
I've got to wonderif investors are on the same page in regards to WEED/CGC and ACRG. Acreage is going to be Canopy Growth. There has been a lot of effort and dollars incurred for this deal for Canopy to take over Acreage and it seems to be happening already from what I see. Canopy money has gone to Acreage coffers for the right to assume them with a share to share swap such that Acreage fixed shares will get you about 30% of a share of Canopy when they consumate the marriage. Acreage is one of the top US MSOs that was chosen and invested in by Canopy for their US expansion. This conjoining of companies is already happening imo through branding agreements for Acreage to source and sell Canopy brands through US retailers and dispensaries. Canopy has built some formidable brands and are very excited about beverages which have done well in Canada even though they taste "rushed". Edibles and drinkables are being chosen over smokable products and rapidly gaining consumer preference. There is strong evidence that cannabinoid infused beverages are going to displace a good percentage of beer sales for healthier infused products and that is catching on with a lot of new entrants to this market. There is a huge multy unicorn that fully endorses what is happening between Canopy and Acreage and that is Constellation Brands who threw in billions of dollars to Canopy coffers that is filtering down to Acreage to secure cannabinoid beverages in the US. This is a perfect trifecta of companies with Canopy getting the most press, Constellation generating the most dollars and Acreage is barely recognized by investors for what it is. Acreage is going to be Canopy USA and could happen any day now with the democrats taking the reigns. Oh, and if it happens today, $11 bucks worth of Acreage fixed shares will get you a $26 dollar share of Canopy and if it happens today, those Canopy shares will rocket a lot higher than they are now! Jmho, dyodd and glta.
