RE:RE:RE:C-Peptide, why the body likes it :)I think I challenged you on this before red, more or less in the form of a riddle asking you to find a flaw in your post under the heading or labeled as “blowing smoke” in relation to vascularized islets.
It’s about “vascularized islets” and I’m not sure the term is correct. My understanding is that the cell pouch is put in place and is void. After placement of the pouch the body tissue grows into the void space of the pouch and carries with it or is is followed by blood vessels of a size that the cell pouch perforations will allow. When the void is filled with body tissue and blood vessels then the cell pouch itself is known as to be vascularized at that point. From there, the environment of the cell pouch is correct for the application of pancreatic islets into the vascularized cell pouch...... and in Sernova’s case, Voila, we have healthy pancreatic islets producing C-peptide and other related markers to show that those cells are Happy Happy and working towards producing insulin towards the goal of curing T1D.
