Good summary of EV trend

Good summary of EV trendhttps://www2.deloitte.com/us/en/insights/focus/future-of-mobility/electric-vehicle-trends-2030.html#:~:text=Our%20global%20EV%20forecast%20is,sales%20(see%20figure%202).

Most of info is known, skip directly to FIGURE 5, TIMELINE.
This is not an abstract projections, but summary of already made plans by the largest manufacturers.
2020 news dominated by JV creation, investments, 2021 is relatively quiet, 2022 is explosive and mass transition (we are month away from 2021)

They would need batteries earlier and inventories of Li would have to be made even earlier, probably mid 2021.

I do not expect much from first half, because during 3  year of oversupply created extra inventories were stored by miners, but new supply was suppressed by Li price and when old inventories will be sold, achievnig adequate level of production might be harder than manufacturers imagine.
The table will slowly be turned in NLC favor, recent surge is a hint of what lays ahead.
