Gold up over 15$ CAD today, but most miners down

Gold up over 15$ CAD today, but most miners downKind of goes against the grain.... some precious metals plays going up like mad,.... PTM for instance.
Platinum i suppose they are believing has more upside than Gold, due to use in pollution control on dirty fossil fuel powered  vehicles.
