RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Observation
Just in general terms...
The CEO does set the tone in many ways and investor confidence in him/her is instilled by he/she setting an example. Case in point - while I was browsing through LD Micro presentations I stumbled across a company I own in the US, been around for a while, but the presenation cemented why I am proud to own the company. First, the CEO had some technical problems with the slide and then after a couple of attempts to fix, he just said forget it and spoke about the company from his heart and being the CEO since 1995, he could recite all sorts of information on the company. But here's the thing - he was genuinely excited about the company and took pride (and get this) in the fact that every single share he owns since day one he bought on the open market. He owns about 10 million dollars worth of shares. He says when investors buy into the company, they are investing WITH him, as he is an investor too. In the end, when it was question time, alll the analysts were blown away and were pretty much speechless.
I then went back and watched Proctor's presentation and was like...OH...MY...GOODNESS.
