RE:RE:RE:RE:Like oil.....butThe other thing to consider here is scale. I'm sure we're headed away from fossils fuels on a mass scale one day significantly enough to make a difference but it won't be in my life time. There are very unique regions/cities in the world that are years ahead of the rest of the planet but they're an anecdotal example. Scandinavian culture embrassed a different life style a long time ago. Are they a good example? Absolutely. Will this drive any significant (global reaching) change anytime soon ? I don't think so. I don't know the answer to our environmental problems facing our planet and I worry for my kids and grandkids but the world we live in today is going to continue to depend on fossils fuel for many years to come and as emerging economies continue to grow like in Asia and Africa, demand on fossil fuel is unfortunately going to increase before it decreases. Its probably a conflict for many of us (especially us longs) I'm also Canadian so I've seen the economic melt down killing Alberta's economy and personally think Trudeau's policies are grand standing if nothing else. Liberals have historically gone the direction of preventing winds...Canada can become carbon neutral while killing significant parts of the economy and will have accomplished absolutely nothing globally. China isn't going to pay much attention to good global citizens while they're busy tending to their economic powerhouse Just my view.
