This answers someone wondering about how much ahead we are then others...as Bernard stated 5 years at least!

@Hilbertk They have received a purchase order from a major auto manufacturer and caught the attention of at least 2 battery manufacturers. In a way you answered your own question as stated they are investing multi million dollars. Bernard has said from the beginning they are way ahead of competition because they are a one step low capex and opex operation. They can put their technology inside the fence next to battery manufacturers battery operation. Group 14 is a two step chemical process, HPQ is a one step thermal process which makes the powder and coats. Additionally these other companies are either using a synthetic silicon or waste solar panel silicon which is high purity but also high cost. HPQ also has the ability to use metallurgic grade silicon because they can convert low grade cheap as dirt quartz into 4N silicon and then convert into nano Si. With hydro electric power the process is also carbon free. These are the advantages.
