China is champion of reverse ingeneering.

With reverse ingeneering the desing ingeneer start with the final product and work through the desing process in the opposite direction to arrive at the product desing specification.

The hiring of Philip Chen could be to give a chance to KNR to be protected from Chinese reverse ingeneering. Althought it is very hard to be protected from Chinese reverse ingeneering.
