it's a significant material milestone and one of many more to come.

They built and shipped their first (?) battery.

Why do vehicle manufacturers use "# vehicles produced" and "# vehicles delivered" as performance metrics?

Obviously, Zinc8 is not at the same scale as a vehicle manufacturer, but the perspective I believe is still valid.
