RE:stupid question

RE:stupid question Hey 'law1287', I hope this isn't a stupid answer, but this is how I interpret the news release today:

Payout 7.5 cents for each QMX share you own in cash, plus 0.01523 portion of a ELD share. Equivalent
 to 30 cents a share.

I.E. if you have 10,000 shares = $750 cash and 1,523 ELD shares.

Not a good deal IMO and my average is 7.4 cents, so I will do much better then a lot of the other shareholders here. I've been with QMX for 2.5 years hoping for at least $1 to $2 per share price someday, so discouraged.
Let's hope someone out bids Eldorado.

for each QMX share held,
(i) C$0.075 in cash and
(ii) 0.01523 of an Eldorado common share (the “Arrangement Consideration”), for total consideration of C$0.30 per QMX share (based on Eldorado’s closing price on January 20, 2021).
