I agree with you that the recent run up was based on a promo campaign or pumping i wouldn't put much weight on a penny stock closing gaps. If all gaps are filled then TSLA sould fill theirs @ 400. AAPL should trade down to 60 and SU should fill@ 15. Small sample size but most stocks have gaps in their charts. It would be nice if LXG actually traded off some fundamental news like sales, production, profits, any thing other than old school mining pumping.
