I'm wondering the same type of thing. The wording in the news release is ambiguous. "To accomodate investors..." So what does accomodate investors mean? Either there was such a push that they couldn't get everyone sorted out in time OR they didn't have enough interest to close out the private placement.

In the grand scheme of things, based on the timeline we are all following, I don't think it matters either way. We likely don't see much of a lift in SP until this is closed though. Meh...what's a few more weeks?
