You have that backwards, shorts don't show up when a group are holding the bag down at a bottom price, shorts were selling when the price was up if you understand shorting stock. So you said the smart money left, but here you are so I suppose that you're not one of them. Sounds to me you're in the first group of bagholders and you're bitter. You don't loose until you sell, and you can average down and still make a profitable play. Don't let emotions interfere with trading decisions, its all just financial and ROI. % regardless of prices.
