RE:RE:RE:News soon
RE:RE:RE:News soonAbsolutely, and I think one can spot the posers. I have seen small juniors with the CEO pulling in $250-$400K annual saleries before drills even start turning. The other one, and I can't begin to stress here how unusual it is in this sector, is if insiders have skin in the game. VONE insiders own a huge percentage of stock and participated in the last round of financing. I watch a LOT of other mining stocks. At best you might see 10% ownership from insiders, usually a lot less. VONE - 24.6% !! And it's not like these guys are pulling in huge salaries. So while there are no guarantees, when experienced management and board members invest heavily in a company personally with their own dollars (even as late as this month with Martin Walter), I take that as a very good sign of positive things to come.
If you want to see a horrible example check out ELEF. I only know about them because they were one of the companies that was flying back when Vanadium spiked that my brother pointed me to. Now they are a 'silver' company and just recently they are trying to a look like a 'nickel' company. Never get anywhere with any of their properties. I've watched the stock for years. Keeps hitting a wall at 0.50. Jumps wildly betwen 0.4 and 0.5 on a regular basis for no reason on huge volume. Lots of insider selling, including CEO. CEO John Lee is pulling in $720K/year salary. Insiders own only 6.1%. Now that is one to stay the hell away from, and there are plenty of examples like that I am sure you have seen to.
