RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Disgusting! The Govt should be ashamed! No kidding... while it is not a "testing device" it is a no brainer that if one were inclined it could be used to screen individuals to see if they are emitting aerosoloized virus. And since it is not a medical device or subject to regulatory authority it can be used that way should the purchaser desire. Now there may be issues with whether you can bind people to particpate for that same reason but you could certainly find a creative way to incentivize the folks you are concerned with to voluntarily participate with your "screening" if you chose.
I suggested way back using it in a "man trap". I once worked in the printing industry making credit cards. Very high security as you can imagine. We had to pass through a man trap in and out. Walk in a door that locks behind you and wait to be cleared by security before the door ahead unlocks. Yeah, not fun but I didn't have to take or keep the job. So anyway it was a very small space and based on the data sheet it would not take too long to have someone agree to hang out in a cubicle or closet size room (no locking doors- be nice), read a magazine, enjoy a coffee and just breathe a little while before being let into grandma's wing at the home, right?
