Sorry just saw this now.....BPYU is just the symbol for the security that BPY issued when they bought GGP in 2018.

As per the press release, the offer by BAM is expected to include the same offer for BPYU at US$16.5 yet it is trading meaningfully higher than BPY.  It closed at $18.06 yesterday.  At some point BPY and BPYU are going to converge, either up or down.
