RE:Share buybacks I like your user name- lololo
I agree with every word you have said here.
There is nothing wrong with the company. Their debt will be repaid 100 percent by end of next year since they create great free cash flows so I am not worried about this part of it.
The problem is with the outstanding shares. Way too high. Many people have been writing in to the ceo advising him to buy back many of those shares now while the share price is depressed. The ceo and directors are complete morons. They still haven't figured out this basic concept. I say we need to get rid of the ceo. A company like Yamana with all these projects and proven reserves including 10m oz if silver mined per year should be a $10 cdn stock today. Instead we are bare holding holding $6.
The other problem I believe is that the gold price and many mining producers are being manipulated and suppressed down. Gold should be at $3000/oz today IMO based on all the money printing done to date. More money printing is coming.
I think the gold price and the mining companies will start to see a ruse coming up. You cannot keep these prices manipulated forever. When the rebound comes it will be very sudden and will catch everyone off guard. The miners I believe will see their share prices rise by multiples of their current price. I can easily see Yamana hit $20 plus similar to their price way back when under similar circumstances. The shares o/s then were much lower which helped.
My suggestion is to keep accumulating shares at this steal of a price we have today. It won't stay low forever. That is what I have been doing. Been holding this stock for about 10 years now. Trying to average down my price more.
You will see big gains on your investment. This is just a waiting game now for the longs.
Patience everyone, our time will come I am very very sure of it.
