RE:RE: Frozen windmills

RE:RE: Frozen windmills

They don't have brushes in Texas? Snow on a panel doesn't exactly sound like an unsolvable problem. And it's not like natural gas has developped without any issues of its own. Solar panels may get covered in snow, and poorly equipped windmills might freeze, but at least they don't blow up your home or your school or your workplace. But just like gas overcame these issues, solar and wind will overcome their own issues.

Don't get wrapped up in conspiracies (and just to be clear this isn't directed specifically at you) that Gates or John Kerry or Al Gore have somehow managed to out-maneuver the entire fossil fuel industry thanks to their "wealth". The fossil fuel industry's pockets are much, much deeper, especially when it comes to buying influence.

The truth is, scientists have been telling us that weather was going to be getting more extreme as it gets hotter. Well there can be no doubt that it's getting hotter, so this polar vortex shift could easily encourage more investment into green energy rather than the opposite. If you all stay on the sidelines, you're gonna miss out. You don't need to like an industry to make money off of it.

They wont be heating many homes for a while, but not to worry, the weather is bound to warm up sometime and melt all that snow and ice off them. I have snow removal customers that are off the grid and have to run out after every snowfall and clear the snow off thier 3 big solar panels. Hard to beat cheap ,plentiful natural gas.
