Don't know about you guys but I'm not happy with the leasing division. There is like no predictability on the non financial asset impairments and they are so material 41.6 million is huge. That's like a whole years worth of dividends. Would've been a great quarter.
Impairments are fictive charges. All it does is lower "value" of assets on the balance sheet. It's non-cash (so it wouldn't have affected dividends).
If you look at cashflow... they had $56M cashflows from operation in Q4. They had $100M for the other three quarters.
With the measures they've taken and the projection that they should end the year with their current cash availability ($200M), they have managed most of the risk related to covid.
I don't know why you guys are down on Chorus, I think this latest financial release is absolutely great news. Hopefully, the market will react like you and the share price will go back down to $3 to let me load up on the stock.
