DisclosureIts definately a fine line between transparency and full disclosure versus the right of the company
to withold positive or negative news for a more appropriate time of the company's choosing.
"M" is getting his shirt in a knot because JJ doesn't want to inform him of internal issues that
MIN does not want to discuss in public at this particular time. My take on this is they all
do it. The public is always the last to know and companies always like to control their
own news flow. I suppose it comes down to when it is material or not. This is tricky stuff
because material news can be a matter of timing(when should it be reported) and
interpretation(what constitutes material news). Mine startups often have hiccups that often
go unreported until a quarterly is released when it is disclosed. Hey, this is mining afterall
so not everything gets disclosed just because joe public enquires over a phone call. My
advice although I know it will go unheeded by "M" and others, is to relax and let MIN have
some breathing space to deal with whatever mining issues they might have. We are in a bull
copper market the like we haven't seen in decades so lets give it some time to percolate before
jumping ship.
