OVER THE YEARS...

OVER THE YEARS...I've read many junior mineral reports.
Some are superb.

While others are hilarious....
How so ?

Simply put - some junior's run with a flagship mineral that turns out to be a weaker credit than
a potential secondary mineral credit that more profitable due ot market changes - sometimes a secondary mineral credit extracts easily with far less costs than the flagship - such as, lithium.

To put this in perspective - how could  i apply this to the SPA - deposit ?
FLIP - the flagship credit and make it a, secondary - place secondary first.

If it turned out there was far more graphite than gold....
Then.....what would this project look like if the graphite was treated  as a flagship ?
Graphite deposit with secondary gold credit ?

Example - Graphite deposit with 10% grade and xxxx tonnage.
Graphite fines - catering to the refractory sector or other.
If ever 10% graphite grade with a modest $350/tonne graphite
= graphite would trump the gold value.
= oxidize the graphite with a little more effort = value and price increases.

You see, graphite is relatively easy to extract.
Read some reports - graphite is hydrphobic - it floats on the water.
Which is why i said - mill the ores more....
Rid the graphite of potential gold which might weigh it down and sink...
such sinks the grapghite with gold attached = making it harder to float the graphite.
If milled to a 300+ mesh... chances are.. .more graphite will float = easier elimination of graphite.
Do al lof this in the first phase of clean water = clean graphite.
.
But when graphite is treated as a waste to discard - it's treated as a waste..
Firsrt line of defence miners use - acid - the solve all...lol
Dissolve potewntial secondary credits....ugh.

Flipping the Creidts = Reverse Psychology Extraction

It would be interesting to see if the same or better gold recoveries would occur WITH 300+mesh.
It's the ability and foresight to see which mineral imparts - easier.
It's all about - ending up with - perfectly separated wastes ores and pure credit minerals .

I wouldn't mention any of this - graphite subject - if i felt there was no positve.
But... the positive could ring true ... even with low grade fine carbon = modest value.
The cheap carbon still commands a value.
And... if there's sufficient graphite - then... kind and grade per tonne is a must know.

Revealing how much graphite and whatkind of graphite
Reveals the worth....

Fear factor ?
Revising all the testing and pea and pfs... but...!

Yet... I've read some miner reports wehere they actually are mining the ore body,
and still need 6 months to tweak the equiptment and feedstock to get it right...lol

Which points to, how dependable are the mine model and exctraction reports..lol
And t ocushion the subject... sometimes the causative of tweaking is due to,
climate temp influxes - ore body has unnotices ores - which can affect the
alchemy of acids = affecting mineral recoveries...

One would have to ask the - ultimate question -
Would switching up to - 300+ mesh really affect the pfs - study ?
I don't think that would be a huge impact.
Especially if the extraction flowsheet kept to same model .
What would change is... ability to impart a secondary mineral credit and
the end goal created less ores in final flotation = such  is a positive. .

if one used different acids, or equiptment, or modification to feedstock
such would require remodelling andproving.

But... if the miner was able to make tweaks that switched up to smaller grains or ores
which enabled a lessor feedstcok for the acids = such creates a positvie
as most miners who use acids on gold ores have many studies ot know that if final concentrate
is kept to less than 1% feed the results on average are predictable.

Wouldn't take much to - run it througfh computer synrthetic pilot test models
Then.. follow up with a few bench tests or 1 toone tests...
Then... report the findings - makority of flowshhet is kept intact.

Didn't SPA sat they're also pulling bulk ores - hello hello....
Such would be good to see what a 300+ mesh grind would do.

Something to think about.
SPA has about 5 weeks before a due dated - PFS.

Could 300+ mesh feedstock - enable the junior to capture more graphite
and still maintain its gold recovery values...?

Cheers...

Lots to chew on...
No guarantee SPA will target the, graphite .
But other posters did say, SPA is aware of thier graphite.
And yes... this deposit has been solely geared towards - gold.

At least i offered some new ideas on - graphite.
I'll zip my lips now... lol
Let others have their say....
