RE:The tunnelling client is Arcbyt: a top 8 countdown.

RE:The tunnelling client is Arcbyt: a top 8 countdown.Given the "plurality" of torches referenced in the patent for the tunnel boring machine, makes me wonder how many are required per machine and what the size/price point of those could be. As per the following article, the best machines are $10 million per and Musk was only willing to pay $2M. Given the Arcbyt ones are smaller diameter, you would assume perhaps the price point would have to be well under $10M each all in. (or maybe increased productivity allows for the price point to be at the higher end....guess time will tell) https://www.teslarati.com/elon-musk-boring-company-doesnt-work-interview/

If you’re looking for the evidence that PYR’s tunnelling client is Arcbyt, the stealth California company ramping up to build small diameter utility tunnels under cities, here’s eight reasons why. Skip down to #1 if your patience is lacking:

Number 8: Arcbyt has Canadian Investors and Board Members

In fact, one of Arcbyt’s main early stage investors is not just in Canada, but in Montreal, home of PYR. Montreal-based venture capital firm Real Ventures is an early stage investor in Arcbyt. And a parter at that firm, Jean-Sebastien Cournoyer, is a board member of Arcbyt:

Number 7: Arcbyt-Associated Web Site Made by Montreal Digital Shop

In late 2020, Arcbyt filed a patent for a subsidiary/division called “Petra”:

https://uspto.report/TM/90238629

For a brief while, a web site existed that was under construction but viewable from the staging area of a web development company: [url=https://staging-petra.poudrenoire.de/en/ ] https://staging-petra.poudrenoire.de/en/ [/url] .

After this was found and a bunch of people visited this link, our presence was detected and the web site became password protected.

However, if you search part of the domain, “poudrenoire”, you find a digital shop with that very name, Poudrenoire... and they are based in Montreal:  https://poudrenoire.ca/en/

Number 6: Arcbyt Jobs in Montreal

On several sites and via LinkedIn, Arcbyt job postings were available for roles in Montreal.  The Poudrenoire staging site listed the following jobs before the site was blocked:

1) Cutterhead Design Engineer - Montreal, Canada

2) Senior Electronics & Controls Engineer - Montreal, Canada

3) Senior Geotechnical Tunnel Engineer - Montreal, Canada

4) Senior Project Engineer - Montreal, Canada

5) Senior Tunnel Engineer - Montreal, Canada

Current Arcbyt jobs are here, though no Montreal jobs are listed at this time:

Number 5: Arcbyt Canadian Address... in Montreal

It’s very tough to find, but Arcbyt does have a publicly listed Canadian address: 1000 rue de la Gauchetire O bureau 2100, in Montreal:

https://www.dnb.com/business-directory/company-profiles.arcbyt_canada_inc.61e1bbc4630617327cb195fa2742222f.html

Number 4: Same Lawyers as PYR

Now about that publicly listed address: 1000 rue de la Gauchetire O bureau 2100, in Montreal...

This address is actually not Arcbyt’s office, but is the home of Osler, Hoskin and Harcourt (better known as “Osler”), a big 5 law firm and a specialist in intellectual property. So they are using their Canadian law firm as their mailing address.

Osler has another key client you might recognize: Pyrogenesis. In fact. Osler handled PYR's graduation to the TSX, among other things: you can read about that here:

https://www.osler.com/en/expertise/deals-cases/pyrogenesis-canada-inc

Number 3: Arcbyt Patents Are All About Plasma

https://patents.google.com/patent/US10584585B2/en

“...a rapid burrowing robot (RBR) that can dig tunnels using ultra high temperature rotating plasma torches.”

Number 2: Using the Same Language in Written Material

Arcbyt, the “Petra” subsidiary, and PYR, have all utilized similar and/or exact phrasing in news releases and on web sites:

Petra web site: "... Our innovative technology efficiently and safely bores utility tunnels through any geology.”

Petra web site: “... making small diameter infrastructure economically viable."

Peter/PYR: "... its potential to drill through all geologies".

Peter/PYR: "...with greater flexibility in size diameter...".

Peter/PYR: “... more economical, efficient and environmentally friendly”

https://www.globenewswire.com/news-release/2020/12/16/2146206/0/en/PyroGenesis-Signs-Additional-1-1MM-Contract-with-US-Tunneling-Company.html

Arcbyt: “... bore utility conduits
through any geology...”

Arcbyt: "...boring small diameter tunnels..."

Arcbyt: ”... is faster and the costs less than the of most conventional tunneling methods, thereby making small-diameter utility infrastructure economically viable.”

Number 1: Arcbyt’s Canadian Location is Actually... Pyrogenesis

As mentioned, there are some hard to find job postings for Arcbyt.  If you search deeply enough, you can find old cached versions of job postings, that reveal some interesting things.

For instance, here’s an old Arcbyt job posting for a senior tunnel engineer, in Montreal:

[url=https://www.ziprecruiter.com/c/ArcByt/Job/Senior-Tunnel-Engineer/-in-Montr©al,QC?jid=a04cc377ccd7d224 ] https://www.ziprecruiter.com/c/ArcByt/Job/Senior-Tunnel-Engineer/-in-Montr©al,QC?jid=a04cc377ccd7d224 [/url]

Now take a close look at that. There’s no address, but there is a postal code:

[url=https://cdn-ceo-ca.s3.amazonaws.com/1g2mcut-arcbyt.png ] https://cdn-ceo-ca.s3.amazonaws.com/1g2mcut-arcbyt.png [/url]

And for anyone that doesn’t recognize that postal code, H3J1R4, it is the same postal code for Pyrogenesis.

[url=https://www.pyrogenesis.com/contact-us/ ]https://www.pyrogenesis.com/contact-us/ [/url]

So to summarize
: the Pyrogenesis factory is home to plasma R&D for PYR, HPQ, US Navy at-sea waste destruction, and Arcbyt, among others.
