New drill report, 6 of 7 holes over 8 grams a ton. I just saw this Karora drill PR. So far what stands out is either some luck or great skill. If you look at the drill map every single on of those holes if over 8 grams a ton (pink circles), except one (6 of 7). https://prnewswire2-a.akamaihd.net/p/1893751/sp/189375100/thumbnail/entry_id/1_hbosyadm/def_height/1195/def_width/1078/version/100011/type/1 is the hi res map
Yet of the 50 or so older holes surrounding these holes and often just meters away on all sides not one of them is over 8 grams! How in the world did that happen?? The only new hole under 8 grams is 14 meters at 6.1 grams and that is the hole they put in the headline. Why the lowest grade hole in the headline? because it is the widest and think maybe another reason. They show it is smack dab on the vein NW to SE strike vein that has rich and thick grades to the northwest 100 to 300 meters away. Good indication that vein is good for that 100 meter section. In fact the closest hole to northwest (if map has north upper orientation) is exactly the same width 14 meters and also same grade so that vein is looking great.
They say new vein, think that is for the richer grade narrower new holes to the north. They seemed to have a different strike as in north south, maybe from different geologic age/event. Again just found this and still analyzing but news is superb. How did they know where to drill these holes? Maybe geophysics, but amazing how 6 of 7 are richer than anything in the area, and the headline vein is the headline winner even though under 8 grams
Cheers
