RE:RE:Curious as EFF how CGC was able to cut through Fed red tape?Yes I read Forbes write-up on it.
I also read CGC's orginal NR in 2019 when they stated CGC has a "minority ownership" in Houseplant. THAT is why this didn't add up for me.
Possibly CGC no longer has a minority ownership in Houseplant ? Although I never saw an NR annoucing that news. That would be the only way Houseplant could legally move into Cali under current regulations. The whole thing is kind of strange.

The brand has a partnership with cannabis giant Canopy Growth Corporation in Canada, but will not be working with Canopy stateside. Instead, Houseplant’s California cannabis will be grown by an undisclosed select group of cultivators CommonCentsforDollars wrote: Can't own anything selling cannabis in the USA but somehow CGC's Houseplant brand will be selling there starting in California ? So lost as to how they are able to cut through the Fed red tape and TSX / Nasdaq red tape.
He will soon be legally selling weed in the United States. Rogen’s beloved Canadian cannabis brand Houseplant, founded with his creative partner Evan Goldberg, is launching in California. Expect to see Houseplant available initially through a direct-to-consumer ordering platform on the brand’s website beginning Thursday, March 11, 2021. https://www.forbes.com/sites/lindseybartlett/2021/03/01/seth-rogens-cannabis-brand-houseplant-is-coming-to-the-us/?sh=20dc685d6234 If it was Aphria doing this Linton would get on BNN and have another stroke out calling for the TSX SEC and whomever else like he did about LHS. Pure F*ckery..
