For sure, ARCBYT won't need just one machine. It will require many, given the huge economical advantage it will have over competition. Rarely we see a player coming up with such disruptive and game-changing technology that has such big gap versus current technologies. Think of it; 10x faster and 1/10th the cost of most conventional tunneling methods So no doubt, it will become the go-to technology that will allow them to win any contracts! Abstract
Significant portions of the utility infrastructure in the U.S. have exceeded their useful life. In addition to maintenance and replacement of existing utility systems and the requirements for extending these systems, there is a demand for new utility systems such as cable TV networks and data links. At the same time, environmental and aesthetic concerns are restricting the location and quality of utility systems. The increase in the number and type of utilities being placed underground, together with the need to replace and upgrade existing utilities, has raised serious concerns about the traditional methods of locating and constructing underground utilities. In the last decades, the technology for remotely operated tunneling, pipe jacking and drilling operations has improved and, as a result, the use of small-diameter and micro-tunneling is expected to increase dramatically. This report describes the techniques involved, the potential applications, the potential growth of the industry, and the critical areas requiring research and development for this developing technology.

The Role
This role will stress test your capabilities to learn new high tech skills in a matter of days. One day you might be asked to setup a new SCADA system and the next to create a HMI dashboard that is presenting GB of data the sensors generated. You will be supporting a team of mechanical engineers, PhD’s, and other robotics engineers developing a machine that can change the world.
About You
You are responsible, organized, and detail-oriented. You can problem-solve in a fast-paced, high aptitude, technical working environment. You are as handy with a screwdriver as with an embedded platform like Jetson Nano or an industrial PLC. You should like Python and be OK with AWS or GCP. You have fabrication experience and are eager to expand your hands-on skills. You’re energetic and excited to grow with our company.
