RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:PartnershipsNorthOntKid, I don't agree with all your comments regarding BB, but I do agree with you about BB doing a better job of getting their turnaround story out more to the public. I use the Blackberry Key2 now and have only used Blackberry phones throughout the years. Family, friends, and co-workers still poke fun at me about my phone choices, and why I own Blackberry stock. They are always saying things like "isn't Blackberry going bankrupt" or "are they still around and do they still make phones" or "why do I use old technology when there are newer better phones out there". My good friend, who is a bright knowledgable guy, said to me lately that he couldn't understand how BB stock has gone up because they don't sell many phones anymore unlike Apple or Samsung. He had no clue that they don't actually make they're own phones anymore and that they are a software company now.
I live in Canada and still can't believe how many people are so clued out about Blackberry and what they have been doing the last number of years in terms of transitioning from hardware to software. I find it amazing yet very frustrating why BB doesn't seem to want to update this outdated image of themselves as a company with the vast majority of people. It actually might open a few eyes as investors if they did. Oh well!

Some transparency on the Facebook deal would also help the stockprice. A little advertising letting people know how great we are in cybersecurity would also help. When was the time you saw a BB ad on TV?
FYI, I'm on your side, My wife and I still use Z30 phones much to the ridicule and laughter from friends and family. I still believe it's the most secure phone on the market.
I have no problem with corporate jets as long as you can afford them. I would love to drive an Acura NSX but I drive a TL because that's what I can afford.
