Short Interest

Short Interest
Overall Short Interest looks to be declining over the last 2 days with the exception of AMK which after initially reaching a recent high of 206K on March 10 saw a decrease the following day only to see it increase again on March 12.

The increase on AMK seems to make sense if you consider that it has recently done it's spinout and so makes it potentially more likely to a selloff after it's recent runup.

and secondly

At one point Friday when TUD was at its lower end I noticed that the spread between TUD and AMK had reached levels only seen in about 30 of the last 252 trading days this year.

So maybe a reasonable assumption could be that AMK holders could have taken this opportunity to rebalance. Add to this that recently the spread between all 3 have narrowed considerably and so makes it's the weaker in the short term which is a reason for Shorts to add pressure and up the ante pressing their bets on AMK.

Time will tell.

Have a great weekend.
