RE:RE:Why the Cheap moneyI’m thinking this is some sort insider lending. The comment to tax advantage handling makes me think that, along with the 2.5 % rate. The source of funds, buyers of the bonds had to of been know before they where offered.  
Ivanhoe spends a lot each month promoting the venture, monthly professionally produced news releases. RF is on several venues doing something what twice a month.  One of my criteria when looking at a holding is what the money lenders think. They do this for a living, and spend a lot more time researching than I do. If I see a holding with a low rate or conversely a high rate to the current market rate I ask myself what they know that I don’t, and adjust my positions accordingly.  
This could have been structured 200 different ways. The message it sends to the market is, Ivanhoe is low risk. If you are going to lend, why not do it to help support your position. Tin foil hat off.
