RE:RE:doug allen's retirementI am 69 but I would still be working if not for illness. It was no longer about money but the great relationships I had with both clients and suppliers. I never was much for winter vacations. Canadian winters have also been warmer and not as long. Any way, I have friends that just wanted to get away whether that meant winter months in Arizona or Florida or, until this past year, taking an RV into the US during the summer and fall. For them retirement at 60 or younger was always their plan and many did that through careful investing and real estate. So retiring at 62 might be too young for many of us but now I wish I had done the same.
