The market loves revenue. Trade Desk won't have made a penny if they write off their billion dollars of uncollectible receivables. Yet they trade at 37x revenue. In this environment it is revenue growth that is rewarded far more than net income growth. The last two years have given rise to price to sales multiples being used for valuation as often as ebitda multiples.
