Looks like we are going to need Royston to come thru
in a big way just to get back to pre crash levels.
Not sure which of the two results the market is disappointed with, Chinook not producing gas or the lower zone at Casca Deep not producing or the mention of water.
I guess it must be Chinook as our hopes were high for that but why oh why mention water unless it fundamentaly changes or negatively effects the well in question. We know, or I hope we know that a bit of water in one formation isn't going to impact the two other very significant formations higher up at Casca Deep so why the F even mention it, just say the lowest test didn't generate any hydrocarbons.
Maybe I'm wrong but water even in the smallest amount and even if it was the result of someone leaving the tap running in the trailer seems to have a profoundly negative effect on even an otherwise successful well. Drives me nuts.
