The new Biden spending plan -- all supposedly well intentioned -- but by rushing things much too fast from a political perspective I can't help but think there is a ton of wasted money here. But, in that respect, they have printing presses that can run non-stop and tax payers that will just keep on giving. It's too bad that those that emphatically and passionately believe in the ideology don't voluntarily contribute more of their dollars in support of the programs. They seem to think it is really great stuff as long as someone else is paying for it. All these politicians that are making the decisions - do you think they will be personally negatively affected? Not likely. It's imposed on the lowly "others" -- you know - "the basket of deplorables".

Not sure of what you are actually implying but are you actually suggesting you believe wind and solar can provide all of the world's energy needs? Don't see how anyone with a logical mind could ever believe that. It's a big promo for maybe 20% of the enrgy spectrum but very far from 100%. Common sense and logic has yet to determine the makeup of the other 80%.

On another "infrastructure" note. Vice President Harris was in California today and while avoiding getting anywhere near the border she was campaigning for acceptance of the new $2.25 Trillion Infrastructure Plan. One of her main themes was how they are going to rid the nation of all of the existing lead water lines. What I did not hear is what material they will be using to replace all of those lines. Heaven forbid they use something like PVC or some other form of plastic pipe - that would be completely against all of their ideologue beliefs. Possibly they intend for it all to be copper. Maybe everyone should be running for copper stocks and get out of this oil stuff.
