I'm fairly sure that Alfacomp pointed out a while back that BMN production numbers are for vanadium only (ie mtv = metric tonnes of vanadium), whereas Largo quote weight of V2O5. I recall that he also said that V2O5 contains just 56% vanadium by weight (oxygen taking the other 46% weight), which makes Largo's annual vanadium production ca 5,600mtv. 
 
 
For comparison with companies that report V2O5 production (eg Largo) you need to multiply their mt production figures by 0.56 to get mtV figures because V2O5 is only 56% Vanadium by weight. 
 
 
 
 
 


Sorry to say this but Typhoon / Alfacomp don't know what they are talking about. What they wrote made bo sense what so ever. Why don't you ask them what product / mineral  has 100% Vanadium?
