Yes indeed there is a village out there that is missing it's idiot!

On another note, theoretically there does not need to be a loser for there to be a winner or visa versa. As the market makes it's way up over time, each buy could make a profit when sold as could each subsequent one. It's when people gamble on an outcome, especially shorting where the losses could be infinite that things can go pear shaped. Just follow what is happening with Gme and see how many HFs get slammed.
