Would guess that board of directors wants to see 3-6 months of profitability before re-instating the dividend.
Amount of dividend will depend on what the new "normalized" profitability levels.
Would not be shocked to see $0.02 - 0.03 monthly at first. Then a gradual walk-up as operations permit. Might be a situation where they want a payout ratio of 60% rather than 90%. Some breathing room will help pay for NCIB and renovations.
Very interesting re-birth of business. From a year-long coma to a new world of higher commodity prices, consumer optimism, solid Provincial leadership and an economic backdrop where the world is seeking increasing amounts of oil exported.
Fewer shares outstanding makes per share metrics more exciting.
I'm really just looking forward to the return of Kasking. Maybe a dividend in Q4 will spark his flame.
