RE:I’ve set my Limit Price to $60Cannabake: It does not work like as you have suggested. I have seen countless times that it is actually the opposite. When you lock in your price absurdly high that's a bright green light for your broker or bank to lend out your shares to shorters. Those holding your shares charge a %/day to those shorters or borrowing your shares, and have plenty of shares to cover in case you decide to sell and they cover before close or within the first hour of trading the following day. You're enabling the shorters and giving money to your broker/bank on the fees they charge to those borrowing your shares. As soon as you buy shares, they immediately become available to borrowing and you can't do anything about it as it's in the fine print of your contract when you signed up to have those representatives act on your behalf in buying/selling equity shares.
