RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:GREAT SIGNS OF RE-OPENING

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:GREAT SIGNS OF RE-OPENINGTommy, I think you're wrong here.  There is certainly pent-up demand, and all kinds of talk about "revenge travel bookings", the ultimate F.U. to Covid, announcing on a personal level that "I've won and Covid didn't". Bookings are certainly up, and any number of airlines are now announcing bringing back pilots.  yes, Canada is behind the States, but at the same time, the data shows where Canada will be in a few months, and that the vaccines are in fact working.  If you want an excellent example of this, look at the CDC State comparison.  Look at the downward curve ove the past few weeks.  And this is with a lot of people there being really dumb when it comes to Covid safety protocol.  CLICK HERE to see the CDC data.

As well, take a look at the TSA daily numbers.  Where air travel couldn't touch a million people per day for months, there are now something like 46 straight days over 1 million per day, and most of those now closer to 1.5 Million people per day.  Again, Canada will have to play catch-up, and will.

And there is the nub of the opportunity.  The U.S. is providing us with a rare crystal ball.  Yes, the vaccines are working.  Yes, things really will return to normal, Yes, air travel will return.  As it pertains strictly to the stock, many people are focused on the "here and now", rather than what is right in front of them as to  "what is coming" via the U.S. insights.  If you just look at the "now", you miss the opportunity of "what is about to be."

I can't say I've had this kind of opportunity in the market...this kind of crystal ball showing the opportunity.  When the stock flips to "what will soon be" from "what it is right now", that will be where the biggest gains are to be had.  Are we close to that? Yes, close I would say.  Close enough that I took a position that I won't look to flip out of any time soon, as has been the case so far.

The opportunity is there....if you can see it.

Unfortunately, I think you're right. There's no way we'll be able to travel internationally this year. Even Air Canada is saying 2024 or 2025 will be the timeline recovery. [/quote]
