Let's just say that there are a couple of reasons that the NOVO saga is not the only important thing in this world!
Well , I never thought I would see the day that Robert Fripp would make it onto the board here almost in person . I see he's also playing on the KL board today . Where's our lead to comment on his abilities in the video :-) I think it's time we added him to the bands line up . It can be done . Andy Powell and Ted Turner from Wishbone Ash managed to function as duelling leads . All from the same part of the world in the South of England . And I almost had forgotten why I was summoned back here in the first place .The question is ... will he bring Toyah along with him ? Synchronicity is such a wonderful thing . :-)

Firewitch, I was wondering if one of the "Cognoscenti" on this board would recognize the gentleman in that video. I myself didn't know who he was but thanks to the comments section included in the YouTube video, I got his name. It made me curious of who he was and I found out he was a guitarist in King Crimson, a band that I vaguely recalled but was not particularly interested in, in my younger days. It tempted me to listen to some of their music and boy, all I can say is, they're damned good!! Listen to their cover of David Bowie's "We can be Heroes"! It's amazing how long he and Toyah have been married, pretty good for a musician and a celebrity, but he does have a couple of good reasons to hang on there :-))!
52 There is a great video somewhere on you tube where Fripp recalls getting a call from Bowie to come back from America where he was at that moment to play on Heroes . I think Heroes was recorded in Paris. A great story . Fripp was and is a great guitarist . . He met Hendrix in 69 ,shook his hand and Hendrix ,after seeing King Crimson proclaimed them to be the best band in the world .
He was probably right . Way way ahead of their time . We won't see the likes of them again .
